Hello Everyone!

Wow the time is flying by. It’s already week 4 of this transfer! This transfer has definitely been an interesting one. This week was especially interesting. Some good things happened. Some bad. Some things that we expected to be good are turning out to not be as good, but for the most part, we are moving forward and having progress.

We spent a lot of time with our new investigator. It’s kind of a long story, but to sum it up. We met with our potential who became a new investigator today. She’s having some marriage problems and will probably get a divorce so she was asking us for help, but I think I told her that we don’t really counsel people, we just teach people the gospel, but the gospel will definitely help resolve any problem. She told us she’d definitely come to church. Her heart is being softened. That investigator is also trying to find a worker for her stall in the mall and it just so happens that one of our less actives that we just met is looking for a job (he doesn’t have any money or food and is having a really rough time. We just met him). We got them together and our investigator is going to hire him. That’s what we’re dealing with right now. Yeah I know it’s not really missionary work. We were just trying to help both of them.

Actually, I’m not sure if we saw a lot of miracles. We weren’t able to meet with a lot of people we wanted to. We did meet with some new people, but we didn’t get a specific return appointment. Most people say “we’ll see first”, but we should be able to meet with them this coming week. A lot of our potential that were supposed to become new investigators this week didn’t, so I guess they’ll become new investigators next week.

Sorry my letter was short. I spent too long writing President Simmons. I love writing him. I love writing you guys too though, so I’ll make it longer next week.

I’ll see you next week.
