This week went well. It was better than last week. I think I’m getting back into the groove. For some reason, not this week, but the one before this one was weird. We just ran into less people and I didn’t know who I should talk to. I think this week is going to be much better and I have faith we can obtain our goals.
We saw a lot of miracles. We found some really good potential investigators and our new investigator and his wife (who will become a new investigator this week) are very prepared. We waited for them for an hour (or so we thought). They were actually waiting upstairs and hadn’t seen our text we sent them. They waited for an hour! They’re so awesome! We hope to put them on date this coming week. They don’t know anything about religion and they seem really humble and willing to learn. They said they’d pray and read the Book of Mormon. They’re from China and I really like them. The assistants also gave us some prepared people (well at least they said they’re prepared). Hopefully we’ll be able to meet with them.
We need to have members at our appointments. Hopefully after getting a bunch of new investigators we’ll have a large teaching pool and we’ll be able to involve members. We were hoping to have a member present lesson, but our investigator didn’t show up… We also have another investigator who is basically a member, just not baptized yet. Once we finish teaching him he’ll then decide if we wants to be baptized. Sadly, we won’t be able to meet with him this week.
I’m really enjoying my time here in Singapore. We had Stake conference on Sunday. Elder Wong spoke. He’s really funny and a great speaker. I’m really excited for mission tour which we’re having this week. It’s going to be awesome. We’ll probably be called to repentance. We’re going to see miracles!
