This week was quite an adventure. This week we went to mini-zone conference in Singapore. I really enjoyed it. We had some immigration problems as well so we were stuck in Singapore for a little longer than expected, but we made it back safely. I enjoyed serving in Singapore. It’s definitely a different experience. There are a lot of mainland Chinese people. Our prayers were answered. This Christmas will definitely be one I’ll never forget. I skyped my family while I was in Singapore. That was great.
My faith towards talking with everyone increased. Maybe not talking with everyone, but being bold and confident. On Christmas day, Elder Clark and I were together in Singapore. We went contacting at Botanic Gardens. I’m not positive how long we were contacting, maybe a couple of hours, but we had a lot of success. I think we found around 14 potentials. Elder Clark is very good at talking with people. His mandarin is also very good. I really enjoyed our time together.
My faith in prayer also increased. We made it through immigration! That was a miracle. I think that was the most nervous I’ve been going through immigration.
Brother *** said he will finish work in a couple of days so we’re hoping we can use him a lot during the month of January before he goes to the MTC. He was also just called as the branch mission leader.
I think this next transfer could either be really good with a lot of success or this next transfer could kind of be like this one and Malacca wouldn’t change much. I think one of the big factors in this is Me. I learned from talking with and reporting with Elder Geilman that I really need to step it up. If I can really encourage the district and raise their vision, then we can see miracles. I just need to pray for our district more and pray for the Lord to help me set a better example and to help me receive revelation for our district.
We just got our transfer news today, but my district is still the same.
Alright well I’m out of time. I’ll talk to you all next week!
Sorry, no photos this week.
