Hello everyone!

Greetings from here in Malaysia! I love Malaysia. It’s pretty great, though they don’t celebrate Thanksgiving…

This week was pretty good. We had a great zone meeting. We had a fun p-day with them. We played soccer and frisbee in the rain. We got really dirty. Our zone changed a lot this transfer so it was good to get to know everyone.

We had some success throughout the week. On Wednesday we found 5 potentials. That’s pretty good for us. We’re still working on finding people. I’ve continued learning the importance of talking with everyone. Some days I do it well, some days I don’t. We need to work on stopping people, not just saying hello and them letting them pass by. Sometimes there is only a short window of time when you can talk with someone.

We had a few lessons this week. Our investigators are slowly progressing. We had some good lessons.

People don’t celebrate Thanksgiving here so we didn’t really celebrate it, but we did go to a pretty good indian place for dinner with the other Elders, Elder and Sister Mah, and a less active sister and her son. So maybe you could say we celebrated.

On Wednesday we went to a guy’s house for dinner. We just met him, but he’s really nice. He had some friends over. They were from Timor-Leste. Hopefully we’ll be able to teach them.

A less active member came to church. We ate dinner with her earlier in the week. She’s been to church a couple times while I’ve been in Melaka. We haven’t had very many lessons to have any members present at. We’re still working on finding people to teach.

I know this coming week will go well though. I have faith that if we try our hardest to open our mouths and talk with as many people we see, we will have success.

Thank you all for reading my update!

I’ll talk to you next week!
