Hello Everyone!

This week was better than last week! I think it’s a constant improvement. We found some good potentials and things are starting to happen here in Melaka!

The miracle of the week is that we have a new investigator who has a good amount of potential and we found 13 potential investigators!

That new investigator’s name is ***. He was found by Elder Ebeling and Elder Geilman (zone leader here for exchanges, also my old companion). He’s really cool. We’ve taught him the Restoration and The Plan of Salvation .The lessons went really well. We’ve been needing some more investigators and now we have a lot people to work with who may, in the future, become investigators.

This week, I went on exchanges with Elder Sasser. It went really well. Elder Sasser is so new, but I can feel his “greenie fire”. I enjoy being around younger  missionaries. It helps fuel my greenie fire as well. My faith was strengthened during this exchange because at the beginning I was thinking about the possible situations I would face while contacting. Then I decided I wouldn’t worry about it. We had prepared and I had faith we would have success and we were successful. I know when we put our trust in God and put our doubts away, God will bless us and even strengthen our faith.

Something interesting that happened: this week we went with a member to some shoplots. She showed us some of her friends and acquaintances. That was interesting. She is actually getting really excited about missionary work. We met this chinese guy who was friends with a retired guy from California. We went to his house and met with him. His name is ***. He’s a descendant of Joseph Smith. He’s not a member, he’s actually some sort of missionary. He shares a short message about Jesus Christ and Moses. Basically, if you believe in Christ, you’ll be saved. We’ll see if he’s interested in learning about our church.

Anyway, that’s all for now. Thanks for reading!
