Hello Everyone!!

This week was amazing! We had Zone Conference in Singapore. I had a great time seeing all the missionaries. Before this week I hadn’t met very many of the missionaries serving in Singapore and West Malaysia, only East Malaysia. It was really fun getting to know them all. Our mission is the best. We had some really good trainings. We went to see the Merlion while in Singapore. Haha, Elder Ebeling hadn’t even seen it and he’s about to finish his mission. I think if you search Singapore on google, the Merlion will be one of the first pictures that will pop up. It was pretty cool.

Also this week went to Kuala Lumpur for District conference. It was my first time in KL. That’s was cool. There were a lot of members there. I enjoyed getting to know some. Elder Chan (Area Seventy) came. He’s from Malaysia. I think he’s the only Area Seventy from Malaysia. Not very many of our members came to KL, but the normal active ones came. We took a bus home with the members. I enjoyed that.

Good news! Brother *** from our Branch got his mission call. He’ll be serving in the Singapore Mission! He’ll report in January next year. I’m so excited!

My faith that we can have success here in Melaka is increasing. The Zone leaders came this week for exchanges. We found around 20 potential investigators! That was a miracle. We never do that, but it was pretty interesting, the Zone leaders didn’t really do anything much different than what we usually do. One thing I learned was that we need to improve our daily planning to more focus on our members and investigators rather than just our schedule. It’s the same principle we talked about during district conference about Branch councils not just scheduling, but actually discussing members of the branch, their needs, and how we can help them. Hopefully by having better planning sessions, by making sure we schedule things in advance, and making sure we contact our potential investigators and investigators each day we’ll have more success. I have faith this will happen.

Thank you so much for reading!
