He’s back! This past Thursday we received word from our Stake President that Elder Wimmer would be flying back to Singapore today (Monday). We couldn’t be more thrilled. Max was excited. Packing was easier this time around because he had everything ready to go and he only took back with him things that he needed. He didn’t even have to take a suit coat since the Singapore Mission no longer requires suits. Makes sense because it is just too hot for a suit in Singapore and Malaysia.
We knew Max’s knee would heal fast. He had a beautiful blessing of health from his Dad and Priesthood leaders. In that blessing he was promised that his leg would heal quickly. We are so grateful that his stay at home was short. Long enough for us to enjoy him but short enough that he will not have a hard time adjusting back to missionary life.
While at home he took advantage of the opportunity to attend the Temple something I am sure he will miss while he is in Singapore/Malaysia. He was also able to visit the Mandarin Chinese Ward up by the University of Utah. He couldn’t be more thrilled, however, to know that he is a full-time missionary.
We look forward to hearing about his missionary experiences once again.
