Hello Everyone!

This week has been awesome! It was transfer week so it was fun finding out where everyone was going to be serving this transfer. Elder Durrant finished his mission and returned home which was pretty exciting. It was kind of sad to see him go home, but I feel happy for him. My new companion Elder Lundahl-Wolford replaced him and he’s awesome. He’s such a stud. He’s from Utah and has been out for about 3 months more than me. His year mark is in three days. This is his first time serving in East Malaysia. Before he served in Singapore and then West Malaysia. We get along great. This last week really has been great. Here’s some things that happened:

Monday – We just spent the day signing other missionaries’ books of remembrances and then we went home so Elder Durrant could pack.

Tuesday – Elder and Sister Slider took us to the airport to drop off Elder Durrant. After we dropped him off I stayed with the Sliders until District Meeting. After the Sliders took Elder Davie (a Malay speaking elder) back to my area. Later that day we met with our investigator V**. I think I’ve already talked about him. He’s crazy, but we had a good lesson. We taught him about the Plan of Salvation. He asked us a lot of questions. We had a pretty good discussion.

Wednesday – Elder Lundahl-Wolford flew in. The Sliders took him to our apartment. Later that night Brother C** drove to meet with our investigator J**. Our lesson went well Brother C** is a great help in lessons.

Thursday – We had a good weekly planning session. After we met with a recent convert named P**. I’ve never met with her. I’ve seen her at her work a couple of times, but this time, we ate lunch with her and her friend. P** is really awesome. She seems to like me and Elder Lundahl-Wolford, so hopefully we can continue meeting with her. Oh yeah, she hasn’t been coming to church recently because she works on Sundays. When she got baptized, I don’t think she had a job. Hopefully we can get her to come back to church though.

Friday – We had a pretty successful day. We met with a potential investigator named A**. He was apparently possessed. We gave him a blessing and apparently it helped a little bit. We also met with his friend. We taught them about prayer and the Book of Mormon.

Saturday – We met with M** and taught a good lesson as well as K** and H**. Haha all of their names start with A. That’s technically not part of their name. You just add it there for some reason. I’m not sure why. We got 7 numbers from people. That’s the most I’ve got in a while. Elder Lundahl-Wolford is just really good at talking to people. Hopefully I can learn from him.

Sunday – We didn’t do much on Sunday. We had some good bonding time. None of our investigators came to church. We were planning on 2 coming.

Monday – Now it’s P-Day and we’re emailing.
Ok well I’m out of time. I’ll talk to you next week!
