Once again, I’ve had another great week. Here’s what happened:
Monday – We went bowling with our zone. It was pretty fun. We had an awesome lesson with our new investigator W. We put him on date for May 30th. He’s really interested and I believe he’ll be baptized. He’s the best.
Tuesday – We had a really fun zone meeting. It was my longest zone meeting. It was five and a half hours long (including lunch). It took forever because we had an eating contest between some Elders from each district. We all ate Mcdonalds and it took longer than we expected from them to make the food.
Wednesday – We met with our investigator X. This was our drop lesson. Elder Geilman and I agreed we should drop him. Sis W from our branch came with us. The lesson went really well. It was my first drop lesson. Later we got a new investigator! His name is P and he’s the younger brother of one of investigators named Mrs. W whom we recently found. He actually has more potential than Mrs. W, so we’re pretty excited about him.
Thursday – We had two great member present lessons (we had members with us). We met with W at our church building and watched Finding Faith in Christ. He really enjoyed it. Our lesson went great. A, one of the counselors in our branch came with us and it was great. We also met with C. S came with us and he really helped because when we said something that didn’t really make sense to him he would explain it in a different way to C.
Friday – Pres. and Sis. Mains came to inspect our apartment, area book, and to interview us. I had a great interview with Pres. Mains. Our house and area book looked good as well.
Saturday – General Conference! woohoo. I love General Conference. We watched a week later because we had to wait for them to upload conference in Chinese and Malay. Conference was the best. I learned so much from it. It was Elder Chang’s birthday so we ate pizza hut and cake before it started to celebrate Elder Chang’s birthday.
Sunday – Another great day of watching and listening to our great church leaders.
Monday – Now it’s P-Day. We don’t really have anything planned, but we’ll think of something.
Thanks for reading!
