IMG_2612Dear Readers,

This last week’s been great as always. Our area is really progressing. We’ve been teaching a lot recently. We’ve been trying to get more members to our lessons. We’ve been finding more investigators and things are really happening here in Sibu. Here’s a short update of each day. I may have mixed up some days, but this is what happened this week:

Monday – Me and Elder Geilman practiced ping-pong at the church. We need to practice so we can beat our zone leaders, haha they’re pretty good. I really enjoy playing ping-pong.

Tuesday – We had a great member present lesson with our investigator G. We also met with 2 of our potential investigators and now they’re new investigators. One’s on date to be baptized!

Wednesday – We taught 3 lessons to investigators and 1 lesson to a less active. We got 1 new investigator!

Thursday – We had a great weekly planning session. We made a good plan for the next 10 days. Later we met with C, a less-active, and another less-active named S. S has been coming with us to a lot of lessons.

Friday – In the afternoon S came with us to teach our investigator C. It was a pretty good lesson. She finally was willing to pray at the ending of our lesson. After we met with our solid awesome investigator named J. She’ll probably be moving to Kuching soon so she most likely won’t be baptized in Sibu, but she said she will definitely be baptized. We also met with a less active named A. Her younger sister died on Wednesday. She was still pretty upset. It was kind of a depressing lesson. If I remember right, her sister was Roman Catholic. That lesson was a little depressing. Later, we had a great lesson with W. He’s the best. We helped him learn English by going through his language book and then taught him part of the Restoration.

Saturday – We met with our investigator Mr. L in the morning. He bought us lunch and he had some questions about the Godhead so we taught him about that. Later we taught our investigator’s son C who became a new investigator! We watched the Restoration and it was the best. C said he believes our church is true and our message is true. We’re not sure if he truly knows though. After we met with our investigator Mrs. B. S came with us. We just had to review what we had taught previously. She’s pretty old and has a hard time remembering. We may end up dropping her. Later that night, we had a fun branch activity. We painted Easter eggs. It was a lot of fun. Some of the eggs looked really cool.

Sunday – Before church, we met with a less-active named H, who later attended church. He’s an interesting guy. He’s really nice though. Church went well. After we took the sacrament to A and her father B. They haven’t partaken of the Sacrament in a while. It was a great Easter Sunday.
Monday – Now it’s P-Day. This morning we and 6 other elders went and played soccer with a member kid and some of his friends. It was pretty fun. Later, we’re planning on going bowling!

Well there’s my update! Thanks for reading. I hope you all had a great Easter. Try to remember Christ, his Atonement, and his Resurrection. Study his gospel and remember to pray every day. I hope you all have a great week this week and I’ll talk to you next week!
