This week has been great! Here’s some things we did.
Monday – I bought a new basket for my bike. The other one was getting rusty in some parts and was breaking. Instead of a metal one I got a plastic one. It was a lot cheaper too. It was less than 3 ringgit.
Tuesday – We celebrated the international women’s day (it was actually on Sunday). I don’t know if we celebrate in the US. We had cookies and all these little snacks. It was pretty fun.
Wednesday – We found some really good potentials. We hope to meet with them next week.
Thursday – We met with an awesome potential and now she’s an investigator!
Friday – We had Steamboat with a returned missionary from our branch named J. Some of his colleagues were there and we talked to them. They were all very nice and we hope to meet with them in the future.
Saturday – We met with a less active with our branch president. The less active hasn’t attended church for about 6 years. We also saw one our investigators while we were eating dinner. He was with two of his friends and we met with them. He said he would try to take his friends to church.
Sunday – One of our investigators attended church. We had 35 people attend church! That’s the most we’ve had since I’ve been here. Just in case you were wondering. We have around 150 members in our branch. I think around 90 different homes. We try to visit a lot of less actives.
Monday – Now it’s P-Day. Our entire zone is here and we’re going to play futsol. I’m excited. Alright well that’s pretty much it. Our area is progressing. We have a new District Leader named Elder Poppleton, he’s companions with Elder Chang. They live with us in our apartment They’re both a lot of fun. We have a good vision for this next transfer and I’m really excited. Our mission is focusing a lot on faith this transfer. I invite you all who are reading this to think of way you can increase your faith, ask God to help you develop more faith, and have faith that with God’s help you can do all things. I know this church is true and that God loves each and every one of us and wants to help us. He helps me everyday and I ask all of you to please pray to him and thank him for everything he gives you. Thank you for reading my short update and I’ll talk to you next week!
