Hello Everyone! Happy Chinese New Year!

This week was great. I’ll talk about some highlights from this week.

Wednesday – Elder Wadsworth, one of the Assistants to the President followed us around. He’s a Chinese speaking elder and he’s been out longer than me and Elder Geilman so his Chinese is better than ours. In the morning, we helped Bro. D and Sis. N move tiles in their backyard. That was fun. We usually don’t have very many service opportunities. Later we talked with Elder Wadsworth about finding people and how we could improve our finding. He gave us some great advice and counsel and we tried applying what he said that day. It was awesome. It was Chinese New Year’s eve and there were a lot of people out of their houses. We contacted a lot of people and found 11 potential investigators! Usually, it’s good if we find 1 or 2, but we found 11! It was so awesome. Elder Wadsworth is awesome. That night was crazy, there were tons of fireworks it was crazy. Apparently it was really crazy around midnight, but I wouldn’t know, I was asleep then.

Thursday, Friday, and Saturday – We met with a bunch of members. Some active, some less active. It was awesome. We ate a lot of food, some good, some bad.

Sunday – Elder Geilman and I both gave talks in Sacrament. They went alright. We ended church early after Sacrament to go visit people. The members drove us around with them and we visited members. It was really fun. I think we visited about 6 or 7 houses. It was really fun. Our branch has some great members.

Hopefully we will be able to continue visiting members. We hope to visit every person in our branch by the end of this transfer. We still have a ways to go, but I believe we can do it. If we don’t visit them, I hope to at least find where they live or talk to them on the phone.

This week is going to be great. We’re going to Singapore on Wednesday for zone conference and I’m so excited. We get watch Meet the Mormons! Today we’re either watching 17 miracles or Ephraim’s Rescue so I’m also excited for that as well.

Thank you all for reading my update. I hope I’ll write more next week.
