This week was another great week. Here’s my update:
Monday – We were busy preparing for transfers. Elder South packed and I cleaned our apartment. We did some errands. We took pictures with the awesome workers at the bike shop.
Tuesday – We had a great last district meeting for many of the elders in our District. Elder Smith finished his mission. Elder Beliang, Elder Vincent, Elder Weston, and Elder South are transferring. After our district meeting we went out to eat with the district at Red Carrot. It was pretty good. After we helped Elder and Sister Bodell go talk to their landlord, but he wasn’t there, which is really common for most people here when we want to contact them.
Afterwards we did some errands. We took pictures with the awesome workers at the bike shop. We went to the Bodells’ house to pick up Elder South’s flight plans and ended up helping pull out some grass in front of their house and later eating dinner with them. After we had a dinner appointment with President C and his family. I guess it was Elder South’s farewell dinner. We went to this cafe I’ve never been to and had seafood. I’m still not a big fan of seafood. I’m growing to like Malaysian food.
Wednesday – Transfers! We went to the airport and I saw off Elder South, Elder Weston, and Elder Beliang. We waited for Elder Geilman to arrive and then once he arrived we took a taxi home. Sorry I’m running out of time.
Thursday – Weekly Planning! Oh yeah we had a good weekly planning session, planning for this transfer and making a vision. We met with an awesome investigator who the zone leaders passed onto us. She speaks really good English and wants to learn in Chinese. She’s the best. She was definitely prepared by the Lord. We’ve only met with her once and she committed to baptism. Hopefully next time she’ll commit to a date.
Friday – We did a lot of contacting and we tried to meet with a lot of less actives.
Saturday – More contacting and less active visits. Sorry I can’t write much more.
Sunday – We had 30 people at sacrament meeting which is really good for us. A few less actives came. After we visited a less active who actually came to church that day named C. It was an interesting visit. I hope he continues to come to church.
Just a little bit about Elder Geilman. Elder Geilman is awesome. I met him in the MTC. He’s only one transfer ahead of me. He’s from Draper Utah and he’s really is super cool. I’m sure this transfer is going to be great. I can already feel it.
I love you All! Thank you so much for reading my update. Sorry it’s short.
