Hello Everyone! Guess what? My training is over! It’s crazy how time flies when you’re serving a mission. This week has kind of been a slow week. Nothing really exciting happened. Nothing you’d enjoy reading about. Sorry my update is kind of short. Anyways, here’s my weekly update:
Monday – We are pretty busy on preparation days. Sorry nothing to talk about for that day.
Tuesday – Our district meeting went well. Our district is kind of crazy. Especially when the senior couple isn’t present. Our district is fun though.
Wednesday – We helped President C and A move a swing set from A’s old house to C’s house. We used a lorry to transport it. Afterwards we met with a potential investigator! When we first got there my tire popped and his wife pulled into their driveway. We asked her if Mr. H was home and she told us he didn’t live there or just he wasn’t home (I’m not sure which one she said). After we were going to leave, but we thought we should call him. It turns out he was home, but couldn’t come to the door and his wife didn’t know he wanted to meet with us. That just goes to show that people lie about their spouses being home. Anyways, half of Mr. H’s body is paralyzed. He’s really hard to understand, but he seems like he has potential. Our lesson went well and this was definitely the miracle of the week.
Thursday – Our weekly planning took forever. Nothing else to talk about, haha.
Friday – President and Sister Mains came to our apartment for inspections and interviews. That was pretty fun.
Saturday – We had the Saturday night session of district conference. It went well. Me and Elder South sang in the choir and sang a duet for part of it. Besides Pres. and Sis. Mains, the speakers spoke in Malay and I didn’t understand anything.
Sunday – District Conference went well.
Monday – We got our transfer calls. I will be serving with Elder Geilman here in Sibu. Elder South is leaving to Miri. He’ll be serving with Elder Hanks. I’m pretty excited.
Ok sorry I don’t have anymore time. Bye!
