Hey Everyone! Merry Christmas! I know it’s not Christmas yet, but I’ll just tell you that right now. I hope you’re all doing well and having a great Christmas. Life in Sibu is still great. The work has been slowly moving. This week we’ve been trying to strengthen our branch. We also did a lot of contacting. I think the miracle of the week is that we found a new investigator! We usually don’t have very many. Here’s some other highlights from the week:
Tuesday – Met with a freaky Buddhist guy, I’m not sure if I’ve already wrote about him. We thought he had called us earlier so we went and met with him. We asked him why he called us and wanted to meet, but he said he didn’t call us. I totally thought he was inhabited by an evil spirit or something. His house is freaky. It has drawings all over the walls and I think he worships a fish, a plant, and some playing cards. Yeah I don’t understand him. Whenever we visit him he just goes off on some weird Buddhist things and I don’t understand anything he says. In the middle of the week we met with C and he really opened up and told us about his problems. We told him to read the Book of Mormon and pray and hopefully we can meet again and talk to him about how his praying is coming. We met with a family that has 7 kids, which is awesome and all the kids are crazy, haha that was fun. They all wanted to take pictures with us. We also had a Christmas program at church and me and Elder South sang in it. We sang With Wondering Awe and it was pretty good.
Ok sorry, but I’m out of time. I love you all and remember the true meaning of Christmas. Serve others, develop charity, and center you lives around Christ.
