This week’s been amazing! We’ve had some real progress. Here’s my update. I’ll just tell you some things that usually happened about every day. We called potential investigators and less actives. Our branch has a lot of less actives and we have a lot of potential investigators in our area book. Right now we’re trying to build our teaching pool because we only have 1 progressing investigator. We found a lot of potential investigators this week though. It’s kind of hard I have high hopes for this coming week. Ok so here’s what happened day by day.

Tuesday – Every Tuesday we have our District meeting. It went well. Our district leader is Elder Christensen, he’s awesome. We talked about our weeks, what miracles occurred, and how we should be working with the branch leaders. We had family home evening that night. Every Tuesday we have family home evening at the ward. Anyone can come. It was really fun. We watched the video about the guy on the cruise ship. I don’t know if you’ve seen it, but I had already seen it and it’s awesome. After that we played a game. We played Signs and it was really fun!

Wednesday – Oh yeah I forgot to say that we actually start proselyting at 1:30, due to our studies and lunch. When you look at it that way. There isn’t very much time in a day, but studies are really important. Anyways, I did my laundry in the morning, because we’re allowed to that because we have our own washers. Sadly we don’t have a dryer, we have a big hanging rack thing. Ok sorry, so we taught Brother E and his wife Sister L. Apparently people don’t like being called by their last names and they always ask us to call them by their english names. It’s kind of weird. There’s a lot of weird things here. We also found these 3 teenagers, well 2 teenagers and a 20 year old that were hanging out at a park fixing their bikes. so we set up an appointment with them. Later that night we taught A, another less active. He’s awesome and our lesson was great.

Thursday – I think it was really rainy. Ok well it rains every day, it’s crazy. You just look at the sky and say, well it looks like it might rain today, haha. When you bike in the rain you get really dirty. You should see my shirts. They get ruined. I’ll have to send some pictures. Anyways, on Thursday, we were supposed to teach the 3 musketeers, but it was raining and C said he wanted to meet the next day. we did meet with brother L though. Haha he’s deaf. We just meet with him to help him translate english words into characters.

Friday – It rained again. We taught C. went to A’s house, who’s also deaf, but she can speak english and can read lips really well. She gave us some food. She’s so nice. We also had temple prep class. Every Friday they have temple prep. elder and sister Mills teach it and they ask us to come.

Saturday – We went to meet the 3 musketeers, but they weren’t there. We did start talking to some kids and they took us to their house and we taught their mom. the lesson wasn’t that good, but we have a new potential investigator and know where she lives. She says she doesn’t know if her husband will allow her to meet with her. She’s Methodist (I think). In our area 80% of people are Christian. so that’s pretty interesting. We also went contacting in this shopping area and found 2 more potential investigators at an electronic shop. They say they work there from 5am to 9pm. so I guess we can always come and teach them.

Sunday – Sunday was great. It’s weird because our sacrament meeting starts at 2pm. I didn’t notice until after how late it started. Anyways, I blessed the sacrament again. We taught gospel principles, went to our last meeting which had two people in it. People always leave early. We also had our meeting with President C. That’s our branch council meeting. No one else shows up. We did area book work, made our last goals for this week and called and reported our key indicators.

Last Week was awesome. I’m so excited for this next week. I love you all and thank you for reading my weekly update. Ok well I’m out of time. Bye! You’re all the best. Please be missionaries and share the gospel with everyone!
